Others?

Is there another guy you'd put first? Chicago State's David Holston can knock em in, Hartford's Joe Zeglinski always hits 40% from deep, David Huertas on Ole Miss has been shooting 47% so far from long range.

Best three point shooter?

Who shoots a higher per-centage for their career? Jimmy Baron!!

Three point shooting

Jimmy Baron is the best three point per-centage shooter. He has been a high per-centage shooter his whole career. Jimmy doesn't get the shot attempts guys like Curry get! He averages 18ppg in the team concept.

Josh Young from Drake can hit it from anywhere on the court.

Danny Green

Don't over look UNC's green. He's hitting 50 something percent from three this season, and he keeps getting better

Jack McClinton from Miami

How could you not include McClinton. Not only is he one of the best three point shooters in college basketball, he is one of the top three clutch three point shooters.

Jeff Fox's picture

Curry

You got to go with Curry here - he's hitting his 3-pointers with multiple defenders in his face and the whole opposition geared to shut him down.

What about Jeremy Hazell?

He won Big East player of the week, is averaging .417 in 3PT percentage (25/60), is scoring 23.3 points per game, dropped 32 against Memphis, and went 6 for 9 from deep in his last game...with a taped up shooting hand.

Here's a video of him dropping in 8 threes, as a freshman, on Louisville as a freshman.

Lacedarius Dunn

Baylor's Lacedarius Dunn needs to be included on this list. Kid is fearless, and accurate.

Jimmy Baron

Has anyone actually even seen Jimmy Baron shoot a 3?

I mean no one can take away what Steph Curry is doing for that school, but if we are talking BEST 3-point shooter it has got to be hands-down Jimmy Baron.

Picture the Powerade commercial a couple years ago with LeBron James taking effortless shots from the other baseline and swishing them. Any idiot knows it was computer generated, but Baron does have that kind of range.

Best three-point shooter!

Jimmy Baron is the best three point shooter. It isn't about how many points you score or how many people are guarding you when you shoot the ball. It is about who has the highest per-centage from the three point line? You are right!!

Kyle McAlarney/Darren Collison

I would have to say Kyle McAlarney from Notre Dame in the UNC game he was making his 3's look almost effortlessly. He can spot up pretty much anywhere on the court and make it. He hit one that was near half court in that game. 10 3's in one game is a great accomplishment along with the 9 that he hit last season against Syracuse. I would also have to throw Darren collison into the mix. He has hit 63% of his 3's this season so far. His shot isn't the prettiest but it goes in and that's all that matters. He has to really have some time to set up his 3 shot that's the only knock down on him. Last year he shot 53% behind the arc. I think he is a worthy canidate for this poll.

McAlarney by a landslide

Kyle McAlarney has to be the best three point shooter in the nation. Kyle will pull from anywhere and make it. I remember watching himbefore his expulsion from Notre Dame a couple years ago and said that JJ better watch his record cause Kyle doesnt miss. Plus he plays in the best conference in college basketball for one of the best teams in the conference. He always has pressure to hit clutch shots and put up atleast 20 a game.

Terrence Oglsby

Terrence Oglsby is one of the top shooters in the entire country. We saw his amazing shooting skills in his excellent second half performance against Boston College. We were also entertained by his jumping ability, with his slam in the remaining seconds of the game.

why don't we all ask coach

why don't we all ask coach K. who he thinks the best 3 point shooter in the league is? Anyone who paid attention to his comments after the Duke/Rhody game will know his answer would certainly be Jimmy Baron. Oh, an when he drops 1 three sunday against UMASS he'll hold the A-10 career record for 3 pointers made...cmon people, it's not close.

Shawn Siegel's picture

Erik Kangas

Senior on Oakland is up to 4th in total 3-pointers made and is hitting 42% and his been on a tear the last month and a half. A player to watch if Oakland can continue its good play and sneak into the Dance.
