But I don't think that West Virginia is a Top 10 team if they have to play without Devin Ebanks.

Kentucky is struggling with 3 point defense against top level Mid-major teams. Thats no suprise considering thats what the top level mid-majors do best....shoot 3's. UK has gave up 36 3's in 2 games! No way that continues.....
Kentucky has played some tough Mid-majors in its first 3 games. All 3 teams they faced are probably going to win their conference....Morehead State and Sam Houston State for sure.
I would forecast that High level conference teams that actually do something besides shoot 3's will struggle against Kentucky. We will see...

Prior to the start of this season, all the analysts were abuzz with talk about Kansas returning nearly their entire team, and adding one of the best Freshmen in the country with Xavier Henry. To be honest, I even bought in to the hype. With Collins, Aldrich, and Henry, I didn't see how this team could be anything BUT invincible from game one.
They have tons of talent, but, more importantly, they've got tons of EXPERIENCE...and not just college experience, but tournament experience. There should be no "learning curve" for these guys. Team chemistry should have long been in place. And yet, for whatever reason, they came out absolutely stale against a cold, depleted Memphis team.
While other teams have lost star players (UNC), or have completely revamped their entire team/system/staff (UK), Kansas is coming back with a top caliber, experienced team. And yet somehow, after a sluggish early game against Memphis, they aren't up for discussion as overrated? Using the same standard that we're using for the other teams, it seems only fair to judge Kansas accordingly.
Other programs are coping with some early handicaps, whereas Kansas simply isn't. They should be held to an even higher standard.

UK is not overrated. They are playing like I expected them to. People, expecially there historically crazy fans put unreal expectations on this team in the first place! There is no way a team that couldn't compete in the NIT last year is all of a sudden a national championship contender! Sure they have a good freshman class, but the operative word is freshman! They will be up and down all year. And quite as it's kept they don't really have a bench. Stevenson, Harris and Harrelson are garbage. They couldn't play for a good division 2 team. What's going to happen is they will wear the freshman down by years end. Mark my word!

ohio state. I saw ohio state get beat underneath pretty bad. Their tallest guy is 6'8"? On top of that their 3 point accuracy was bad, seemed to play sluggish. But they showed alot of clutch so maybe later in the season I'll eat my words
- Kentucky has the most talent of any team in the country, but no experience as people have already stated. Calipari will have them whipped into shape by January. Cats make it to the Sweet 16.
- Speaking of inexperience, UNC looked pretty green against Ohio St, turning the ball over every 2 minutes. This a very different heels team that won't hang their hat on the full-court offense like last year. They made almost half their shots from beyond the arc which proved to be the difference-maker. Defense looked good too.
- Despite the lousy performances mentioned about the above teams, this happens every year. Teams don't get up for the cupcakes like they should and eek out a couple victories or sometimes lose. I wouldn't put too much weight into a November loss to a mid-major. If the team truly is a top-25 team then it shouldn't keep them out of the tourney because their full body of work should make the committee decide on whether to put them at an 8-seed or 9-seed, not 12-seed or NIT.

at this point in the year uk is way overrated, now way their 4th in the ncaa....i dont even think they are a top 25 team at this point, they really suck

UK is completely overrated! I'm sorry, but you have to earn your #4 ranking and UK has not. University of Louisville in my opinion should be a top 10 team. They went to the elite eight last year. They still have experience on the team. Mark my words. Cousins,Patterson,Wall, and Bledsoe is not going to work much because they got ESPN in their ear. John is getting way too much publicity and to be honest, I think Eric Bledsoe is better. John is good but he is overrated! He allowed his man he was guarding against the less talented Sam Houston team score 40 points on him. Thats unacceptable if u are suppose to be the #1 player in the country!!! And John Calipari doesn't coach. He let them boys do whatever they want to do!
What do you think?
Some of the top 25 teams have looked a bit weak so far. Villanova barely escaped with a win over George Mason after turning the ball over a ton, Georgetown was quite bad against Temple at home, UK needed a buzzer-beater to take down Miami, Georgia Tech has a loss, while UNC and UCONN have looked sluggish against lowly opponents. What do you think?
