I think he definitely will progress more to UK, too bad he's already secretly committed to Coach Calipari (UK) and will attend UK.

I believe that he will stay in-State and will choose either State, or Carolina, with the lean going to State, where he would be more of a true star. I don't think he wants the Dookie challenge.

Miami newspapers have been wasting a lot of ink too about Wall going there.

He doesnt want Kentucky, he wants to win. IF they could have landed Henry then I think he would have been a Wildcat. And WOW Patterson,Cousins, Meeks, Henry,and Wall!!! They would have been contenders for the title. But it did not happen. NOW Wall has another meeting with Coach K and being that Duke has the most Talent in the NBA right now, it shows this is the program that would best prepare him. So now youre gonna have Mason Plumlee, Kyle Singer, Gerald Henderson, Jon Scheyer, and John Wall. UNC has a hell of a rep & it would be in his best interest to go to UNC, weather he goes to UNC or not, they will still have an awesome team the next 4 yrs & will continue to build, cause only the best goes to UNC yr after yr..

Thats BY FAR the most experienced line up in the elites of basketball next year and Kelly and Plumlee's stock just keeps on rising from their tourneys Both averaging over 10 points and 6+ rebounds a game and this is in 30 minute games where point guards do all the shooting Next year will tell Carolina where they stand then with all your one and doners 2010 will be a Duke cake walk when we load up with Seth Curry, Josh Hairston, Andre Dawkins, Tyler Thorton and Harrison Barnes haha good luck stopping that team!!

2 freshman, a sophomore (williams would start over smith), a junior, and a senior is not terribly experienced

EVEN IF, Wall lands at Duke, what else do the Blue Devils have that make them National Title contenders? Scheyer nor Singler can defend their position and neither have an inside game. Carolina will dominate Duke on the boards, unless you REALLY BELIEVE Plumlee (and I've seen his bloodline, don't get your hopes up) is going to be able to handle Carolina big men by himself. Plus, the Dookies haven't proven that they can handle Roy William's up and down tempo. If he beat Duke in Cameron WITH Bobby Frasor at the point, I'm sure he can beat this team with Larry Drew.

BUT, just for giggles, if Wall was so set on Duke, why haven't he decided yet?

as a die hard carolina fan it does my heart such joy to hear dook fans try to bolster their spirits up by what might happen rather than admit that their program is sadley(for them)failing... and the best players continue to want to go to nc because they know it is their best chance for a championship and fame.....nuff said

Everyone on this blog thats hating on UNC,I got one question.There are hundreds of schools out there.Why is everyone got UNC on there mind.We are a dynasty.I don`t care if we win a championship next year or lose alot of games.Why is this so important to your life?Why do you put so much energy in your predictions?Is all of this putting money in your pocket?We are just fans so whats the fu..... big deal.If UNC is on your mind that much,you can come be a fan of GREATEST.

...but I know that John Wall won't be coming to Chapel Hill. And for no other reason that HC Williams won't take players that have handlers. Williams almost stopped coaching in the `90's because of this trend, and when he decides to stick with it, he said he would never deal with players that bring people along with them.

I do not know where Wall will go, but for me this is a "lease for a year" type of thing more than anything else. I can understand that for a team JW will do a lot, but that team won't be North Carolina unless he commits himself to ridding of Clifton and going to class.

Personally I will be glad when the circus that is Wall's recruitment is over and we can move on from it.

im a kentucky guy but i know my guy's have had a down few years but things are changing at uk but it may take a few years but you all are crazy duke is not going to win it next year kanas will be the favorit and NC will be in the nit next year no matter where wall goes and why is NC in this thread wall said no for good reason to his home town

I love UNC, but all Carolina fans need to forget about John Wall. Not only does he have Clifton behind him(Williams hates this), they havent spoken much, but biggest of all is this arrest against him now. Although breaking and entering isn't really a big deal, Williams wont put up with this. J.R. Smith had a Scholarship to NC in 05 and got in trouble and it got taken away. Dookies, i hope yall get him bc maybe yall be a challenge. Besides, its not your outside game that is hurting, its the inside. NIT!?!? u kidding me right? UNC yet again has some of the best forwards in the nation. And i dont think Drew will start. McDonald(freshman) is said to be able to play point as well as sg so he might earn it, but even if drew does start, he isnt bad. He doesnt make plays but he has good court vision. So go UNC and screw Duke
