Thiis will be a team off highlight clips this year. Xavier is a beast! Sherron will be the team leader & score/assist a double-double most nights. But Cole is likely to have several triple-doubles. Got to believe he's the key to the Jayhaws championship run this year. Rock Chalk!

with so few quality centers around college basketball, aldrich certainly gives KU unique edge, but multiple triple-doubles.. that's a bit much :)

2 or 3 triple-doubles from Cole this year, especially once the supporting cast (X, Tyshawn, the twins) start pulling their weight on a consistent basis. Cole will be asked to score less, and can concentrate on what he does best: rebound and block shots.
Last night, Cole had 18 points, 11 boards and 7 swats (even though they only gave him credit for 5), not a far cry from triple-double territory. As the season wears on, expect lower scoring output from Aldrich, but he may have a couple of monster shot-blocking games.
