Anderson

Anderson is doing everything he's been asked to do and more. He doesn't really have anyone else helping him like the other guys. He's not only leading the conference in scoring but he always tries to find a teammate who is open. He is the most unselfish player in the nation, and nobody is talking about him.

I like Anderson a lot.. but

I like Anderson a lot.. but 'most unselfish player in the nation' is a bit much..

Kimmie English needs some respect.

I think he is a better player than Sloan, especiallt when he is on and when he is.....WATCH OUT!

I agree...Kimmie English

I agree...Kimmie English does need alot more repect. He is averaging at least 20 points a game. He is a sophomore but seems to be the leader of the team which is usually seniors job. He is looked up to by he whole team including seniors such as J.T. Tiller. Kimmie deserves to be on this poll

Youre right! He will only get better.

As a Kansas fan, im afraid to see what kind of damage he could bring by his SR season. If he can learn to play both at home AND on the road, he could be a national player of the year canidate by his SR year.

Kimmie is good

Ill take him over Sloan.

Tweety Carter

How can this guy not be at least mentioned? Averaging 17 ppg and 6.3 assists. As you can see this is higher than Sherron Collins in both areas. Also, Ekpe Udoh has better points, rebounds and block numbers than they ever so over rated Cole Aldrich.

Standard MVP point

While I like Tweety Carter, to think he is more valuable than Sherron simply because his stats are higher is shortsighted. I think if you gave every coach a choice between the two, everyone would pick Sherron because he does what the team needs and is a true leader. The same goes for Aldrich - who you say is overrated. Perhaps you just look at offensive production. Some time you should watch how Cole alters a game with his defense.

Most Outstanding? Probably

Most Outstanding? Probably Anderson.

Most Valuable? Donald Sloan, no question. When Derrick Roland went down, Sloan picked his game and his leadership up to keep his team from imploding.

Yeah...because English

Yeah...because English really outplayed Sloan in the head-to-head matchup this year...Give me a break...Sloan is one of the most underrated players in the country...let alone the Big 12...

Sloan is better than i am

Sloan is better than i am

Who would have ever expected

Who would have ever expected k-state to be top ten before the season started? You have to take into consideration that these guys have fought as underdogs the entire year with no one believing in them but themselves and their fans....3 words...Fear The Beard...
