#1 Seeds

West Virginia defeated Villanova away from home. While Duke beat a mediocre North Carolina at home. Duke is vastly over rated as usual.

Duke

Duke has had great teams. This year is not their best ever. They are close to deserving a number one seed.

I don't front the teams or their fans. I am absolutely tired of Vitale and friends over-stating their net worth.

When a TV network claims to be national in scope, they should be non-bias. Not so with ESPN (East-coast Sports Productions Network)

I think we are in for a surprise or two. None of the first seeds will be in the final four.( Incidently, I am a solid Kentucky fan. However, I don't see the wildcats surviving the sweet sixteen, nor will Duke. Syracuse and Kansas will bow out in the elite eight.) It has been a nutty season. Why should the tournament be different. Secretly I am a Murray State hopeul since I attended their for seven years (grad and post grad)

Duke just doesn't impress

Duke just doesn't impress me. I can't see them a #1 seed this year

West Virginia controls their

West Virginia controls their own destiny for the final #1 seed. If they win the Big East tournament they will have beaten Georgetown,Villanova and probably Louisville,Pittsburg h and Syracuse in a 12 day span. They already have an RPI of 4 and SOS of 2. If they win the BE tournament their SOS will be 1 and their RPI will either be 1 or 2. Even the other #1 seeds won't have that kind of a resume. They will definitely have to win the BE tournament for this to be the case, but if they pull it off then the debate over the final #1 seed will be over

Buckeyes

It will be Ohio State. They are playing better than anyone in the country, and they have the best chance of any of these #1 hopefuls of winning their conference championship

#1 Seed

I don't think UNM deserves a #1 seed but I would like to see the Lobos as a #2 if they can win the MWC Tournament.

Duke

This Duke team will not bow out as easily as everyone thinks. They are stronger than most of you think. They are the only team with the top scoring tandem in the country...singler, scheyer, and smith are all capable of big games. This Duke team is a lot deeper this year and bigger, so they will go farther

Ohio State Buckeyes

Early in the season I would have never thought Ohio State would be in the running for the fourth #1 seed. But, with the return of Evan Turner Ohio State came back and won some key games. Thats my reason I believe Ohio State should be the fourth #1 seed. Even if they don't get the #1 seed, they'll be a 2 seed
