Orlando Johnson is even better (and bigger) than I thought. Though the loss of Byrd will hurt the Gauchos, I think they will give the 49ers a run for their money this season.

Yes, Johnson is front-runner for conference POY. With Nunnally, the Gauchos have probably the Top 1-2 combo in the league. I think Fullerton and LB State are still dark horses in the BWT yet the Gauchos seem to have the edge at this point - they seem to have the UOP Tigers figured out.
