Are you kidding me?
Everyone keeps picking Morgan. What about Norfolk State? MICHAEL DELOACH is coming back, and hes BETTER then last year. Their starting point guard is back, and so is their 7 foot center who is in the best shape of his life. They have rutgers transfer Christian Morris, and Drexel transfer Rob Hampton. Ive read alot about their recruiting class with Issac Nixon, Reggie Revels and Jordan Payton. And the more I read, the more it sounds like the Jordan Payton kid is a raw kid who screams potential. Not to mention they have Kyle Oquinn, a poor mans Tayshaun Prince. Cmon now do your research!!

Coppin State
I agree Morgan, Norfolk St., and South Carolina State will be strong teams this season but I am looking for Coppin to compete for the MEAC crown this season thanks to 1-2 punch Kareem Brown and Sam Coleman.

And Morgan Definitaly did
And Morgan Definitaly did when i dont think you did your research sir

Are you kiddin me
So much for Norfolk St.Morgan St will win it again!!!!!!!!!They have the best player in the MEAC KEVIN THOMPSON, THEY WILL GO BACK TO THE DANCE.

No question about it Morgan
No question about it Morgan takes the MEAC again. Watch out for Bozeman knocking off U of Arkansas, Baylor and maybe U of Minn as well on their way to the NCAA tourney. The Bears are not a typical MEAC team this year.

Coppin State Eagles will surprise many !!!
Keep an eye on Coppin State and new juco transfer(SG) Kareem Brown. Anything less then 1st Team All MEAC would be a surprise. He will keep Coppin State in the hunt all season long without question !!!
***Dont say I didn't warn you...***

BAYLOR vs.. MEAC' ies
Decided to google team previews for both Norfolk State and Morgan State since we face them both this year, already beating Norfolk State by 25. I saw the game I can give you a heads up on Norfolk. They really have no pure scorers except Michael Deloach. Josheph Dorsett is big, but slow as a snail. Rob Hamtpn and Issac Nixon were non existent. Rob traveled about a billion times. But Im sure hes better then he looked.... (had 17 tonite vs Maine.)..and for sir nixon. He dribbles shaky and looks like he is a walking injury with the giant kneepad he had. And Oquinn did nothing. So he must be a poor poor mans tayshaun (to above post). the freshman you mentioned above did nothing. Well revels hit a 3. well bulit kid, but hes too physically mature for a freshman which shows hes about as good as he'll get. And payton came in late, didnt do anything. He was the same build as our freshman Nolan Dennis, 6'5 long arms.Meaning he has the body of a High Major recruit. Big woop, I still saw nothing but made jumpers in layup lines. Walkon Brandon WHeeles saw aot of time considering he isnt on scholarship, and i was baffled at his coaches descion to keep in in after a wide open missed dunk. And when I mean wide. I mean by his self with the next person across half court.
So I hooked you guys up with info, tell me about Morgan state!

Guards a Plenty
the maine for norfolk game was entertaining. i also saw their exh. vs new paltz. they have wayyy to many guards man. i dont know why the freshman they have even commited their. i googled their names and saw a blog by revels that said he was headed to gillete jc so norfolk must have been his only option. when i googled payton i saw that he had offers from st.francis pa, sandiego, cs northridge and alabama a&m. according to the martinsville bulletin that is. revels espn eval wasnt nothing to get excited about, so it seems that norfolk was best for him. saw him in layup lines and his shot is suspect but he is a well built frosh. paytons eval on espn indicated he basically had all the potential in the world, my guess is highmajors didnt want to work with a raw talent who has mass potential. it might be their loss in the end. ultimately my bet is one of them transfers. they have aleek pauline coming back, brandon wheeles, issac nixon, rob hampton, james williams. and i hear chris mceachin from radford is coming in, and they signed a PG named reynaldo. and even the walkon kris brown gets as much PT as them. the coach might as well throw him the scholarship and let one of the freshman go somewhere were they can play. my guess is payton who leaves, and i say that only becuase hes already so far from home (hes from california) and more schools would want him, then they would revels. saw him in layup lines to, skinny about 6'5/6'6. pretty nice high release on his jumper. to bad the only time he sees the court is warmups.! hahaha. oh well. im a hampton fan anyways. with their thin front line and heavy line of guards, i saw its our turn to give out the L.!!

we lost to maine
not sure how we lost to maine but norfolk beat them. were far better then both squads

its funny that i found this
googled jordan who was a former player of mine to see if i could fine more stories on him. i say its funny because jordan did end up transferring and you guys posted about him transferring in November of 2009. Good prediction on your part, Ive got some things lined up for that kid that will make people wonder how he ended up at norfolk in the first place.
