This Week's Question: What Will be UNC's First Loss?
Yes, UNC is good, but they're going to lose a game.. whether its during their the non-conference schedule, ACC season, or the postseason is for you to decide. The Heels remaining schedule is copied below. Note that in Maui, they will most likely face one of Notre Dame or Texas in the finals (both Top 15 teams). Their other big non-conference game is December 3rd against Michigan State in Detroit. After that the next losable game is at Wake Forest on January 11th.
So when do you think someone will pick off the Heels? Post your thoughts below:

UNDEFEATED
Silly question Shawn, you know the Heels aint losing a game once Hansbrough's back it wont even be close
Simply not going to happen.
Simply not going to happen.

UNDEFEATED
I think UNC has a tough road. The Big Ten/ACC challenge game against Michian State is one of them and so are potential opponents Notre Dame or Texas. Also, you have to look at the two games against Duke. The game in Chapel Hill shouldn't be too difficult, but traveling to Durham, I have some questions about that game.

Terps
The Terps always play UNC tough despite the talent on the roster. Greveis will find a way to beat them before Maryland collapses in March.

msu or duke
i think msu has a very good chance to take unc...so does duke. both teams can score on the heels.

Wake forest
Wake has the size to bother tyler and james johnson and aminu who unc can't match up with. Lets not forget about jeff teague either

possibilities keep growing
a month ago, I'd have said not until Wake or maybe Duke in Cameron. The way things are going, I may be playing center by the time they get to Maui, so I'd say there's a good chance they come back east with an L.
haha, well said sir
haha, well said sir
(assuming you are a sir)

What is that GLOW over in
What is that GLOW over in North Click? The radiation from the accident in Rocky Mount? Noooo. That my friends is the Shock Reaction after Evansville whups up on the Mighty Gumheels. The Gumheels won't even beat the darn Dukies..

Nobody
Tarheels run the table in the greatest season ever told. Tyler Hansbrough gets his 4th win at Cameron Indoor, Roy Williams cures cancer, nation's capitol is moved to Chapel Hill, NC.

Injuries
Injuries will be the reason for lost games. If you know the recent history of the Duke vs. UNC game it is more likely that UNC loses in Chapel Hill to Duke as opposed to on the road in Cameron. However I do believe the defense of UNC will be the story of the year, not the offense. Carolina's defense has showed only one weakness this year thus far and that is getting back on defense after a missed basket or turnover. Teams have been able to get very good numbers in break away situations.
To answer the question Clemson wins in Chapel Hill and breaks the streak.
UCSB Tonight..
No one thinks the Gauchos will pull off the upset tonight catching a rare chance to play UNC at home?..

Maryland
I don't know if it will be their first loss but UNC will lose one to UMD. Book it.

Clemson ends streak
After 3 close losses to UNC last year (in Clemson, at Chapel Hill, ACC Championship game), Clemson will finally pull it out and break the streak of 54 in Chapel Hill. It's about time, and I think this is the year. I could see UNC slipping up earlier in the season, but Clemson will be the 2nd, if not 1st Tarheel loss of the season.
Wake
First loss in Winston-Salem, NC. The bigs prove to be too much, and just like last year vs. Duke at home, wake will have the ref advantage and NC runs out of players to match up with our front court.

Michigan State
My thoughts..
UNC has it easy in Maui with Chaminade and then the winner of Oregon/Alabama (two mediocre teams) while ND and Texas will have to go at it hard in the 2nd round. While UNC is certainly not a lock against those teams, I like the Heels. The road game against MSU (I know its not in Lansing, but its still a road game) is my pick for the Heels first loss. MSU will be for real this year. While many Wake fans expect the Deacs to roll this year, I like Carolina in the trip to Winston-Salem but could see UNC slipping on either the 17th or 21st at home in a surprise loss to Miami or Clemson.
