Scouting Report
- Siegel's
Take:
I don't care what the other
services say about Earl Clark. He absolutely deserves to in the CHN10
ranking. While Clark is often listed as a wing forward, he's
basically a point-forward in the mold of a Scottie Pippen.
Louisville would seem to be the ideal fit, where Pitino could use his
long arms to trap and he could really be useful pushing the ball up the
court. With his 6-9 frame, he's basically a one-man break, in that
he can pull down the board and burst up the court with ease.
Offensively, he can do a bit of everything from spotting from three,
pulling up in the mid-range, and even posting up smaller guards down
low. He's only ranked out of the top 10 by most services because
he's not dominant with any one of those abilities yet, nor does he play
the whole game above the rim.
