Take:
Oden is clearly the top player in
his class and has been for quite some time. The once mythical
Oden-Caracter battles are now nothing more than one-sided workout sessions
for Oden. The most obvious comparison in recent years is Dwight
Howard. Howard was a better all-around prospect at this time, but it's
hard to imagine a more desirable teammate than Oden. Don't believe the
hype that Oden lacks fire or intensity. He's all business on the
court, but I've never seen him lack the desire to dominate at times that
can't. He's the Pete Sampras of high school basketball.
