Scouting Report - Siegel's Take:

Durant is a stud athlete.  Despite his 6-9, soon to be 6-10, height, Durant is more of a small forward type player.  Perhaps his only fault right now is lack of weight and lack of strength. But you also have to take into account that Durant is one of the youngest guys in class and that he is not done maturing yet.  Durant's biggest plus attribute is scoring the ball, particularly on the outside where his shooting touch is superb for a kid his size.  Coach Barnes continues to bring top recruits into Texas, and Durant is better suited for immediate college success than another forward with a similar body, LaMarcus Aldridge.
