A companion to our daily Three Stars of the Day, we present the top three Games of the Night

 

UCLA (12-1) at Stanford (11-1)

10:30 PM

Two AP Top 25 teams meet in their Pac-10 openers. The Cardinal still have just the lone loss to Siena, and have been playing well since Brook Lopez returned. But they still aren't getting much respect nationally, so they'll treat this as a real statement game.

Prediction: UCLA

 

West Virginia (10-2) at Notre Dame (10-2)

7:00 PM

For whatever reason, lets call it the Bob Huggins effect, West Virginia has been getting much more attention than Notre Dame despite the similar records. The Irish though are still a fringe-Top 25 team and could gain some more respect from the voters with a win.

Prediction: Notre Dame

 

Georgia Southern (9-3) at Davidson (4-6)

7:00 PM

The Wildcats' at-large chances are over and their best win is over #187 Appalachian State. They need to start winning games in the worst way, and getting SoCon title contender Georgia Southern at home is a good place to start.

Prediction: Davidson
