Larry is WAC Player of the Week
DENVER – Boise State forward Reggie Larry has been named the Western Athletic Conference men’s basketball player of the week for December 11-17.
Larry, a junior from Newark, N.J. (College of Southern Idaho), scored a career-high 24 points and grabbed a career-high 11 rebounds in Boise State’s 99-66 win over Sacramento State. He made 9-of-10 shots from the floor, including 2-of-3 from three-point range, and all four of his free throw attempts. Larry also had two assists, one block and a steal as the Broncos moved over .500 for the first time this season (5-4). It is Larry’s first career WAC Player of the Week award and first for a Bronco player this year.
The other nominations were junior guard/forward Dominic McGuire, Fresno State; junior forward Bobby Nash, Hawai‘i; junior guard Marcelus Kemp, Nevada; and junior forward Hatila Passos, New Mexico State.
