Three Stars of The Day

Continuing a new daily feature on, the Three Stars of the day.  We handpick the best performances of the day, whether it be stat lines that make you drool, or clutch performances.  Either way, its our way of showing the love:

Kyle Singler - Duke

In one of the biggest games of the year so far, the Maui Invitational final, Singler set a new high with 25 points on an efficient 7-11 shooting

Chris Wright - Dayton

The A-10's most highly touted recruit had a monster game against Toledo, with 26 points and 12 boards in just 25 minutes of action

Kosta Koufos - Ohio State

The Syracuse defense struggled to contain the 7-foot newcomer, who finished with 24 points and 9 rebounds

Other Top Performers

DeMarcus Nelson - Duke - Singler had 25, but Nelson's 16 point, 7 board, 4 assist effort was every bit as important

Tyrone Shelley - Pepperdine - Another highly regarded freshman, the 6-6 wing scored 25 points against LBSU, as the Wave finally got their first win of the season in OT
