Three Stars of the Day: November 23rd

November 23rd, 2007

Three Stars of The Day

Continuing a new daily feature on, the Three Stars of the day.  We handpick the best performances of the day, whether it be stat lines that make you drool, or clutch performances.  Either way, its our way of showing the love:

Michael Beasley - Kansas State

Even though they lost to George Mason, the Wildcats would have lost by 25 if not for Beasley's monster second half

Devan Downey - South Carolina

The Cincinnati transfer has his best game as a Gamecock, with 30 points (including 4 threes) and 4 steals in a win over Penn State

Jason Thompson - Rider

The senior's 24 point, 15 rebound, 4 assist effort helped Rider put a scare into NC State in the Old Spice Classic

Other Top Performers

Randal Falker - Southern Illinois - Chattanooga's frontline had no chance against the constantly double-teamed Falker, who finished with 21 and 6 boards

Folarin Campbell/Jordan Carter/Will Thomas/John Vaughan - George Mason - All four of these guys could have made the list, as it was a total team effort that upended #20 Kansas State
