Luke Nevill – Utah

2 Games: 23 ppg, 8.5 rpg, 2 bpg, 67% FG

Luke Nevill has saved his best season for his last and the senior is posting career high numbers in nearly every major statistical category. The Australian native led Utah to a big conference win at home against a talented BYU team last night, notching a season high 32 points while also hauling in 10 rebounds. Nevill shot a remarkable 10-12 from the field and 12-14 from the line in putting on his shooting clinic. The win pushes the Utes into a three way tie with TCU and UNLV for first place in the Mountain West Conference.

Finalists

Eric Maynor – Virginia Commonwealth

3 Games: 28 ppg, 2.3 rpg, 3.7 assists, 1.3 steals

Mr. CAA continues to impress week in and week out by putting up big scoring numbers. Maynor helped the Rams take two out of their last three conference games, knocking off rival George Mason and Georgia State. VCU dropped a hotly contested game to Northeastern last night but Maynor was able to pump in 30 points to lead all scorers.

Kyle Ohman – Liberty

3 Games: 21 ppg, 6.3 rpg, 3 apg, 55% FG, 43.3% 3P FG

Seth Curry isn’t the only player that can put up impressive numbers for Liberty. Despite being an inconsistent contributor this season, Ohman has put together three double digit scoring performances in the last week, including 26 in a win over High Point. A good rebounding guard for the Flames, Ohman is in the midst of his best shooting stretch of the season.

Tywain McKee – Coppin State

2 Games: 20 ppg, 6 rpg, 5 apg, 2.5 spg

It’s been a rough season for Coppin State, but Tywain McKee has been a bright spot for the Eagles. A solid contributor in multiple facets of the game, the Philadelphia native really stepped up his game in a pair of games this past week; shooting well, rebounding aggressively and distributing the basketball. Most importantly, Coppin State picked up a pair of conference wins to move back into the middle of the pack in the MEAC.
