Scouting Report: An athletic, explosive shooting guard.

Strengths: Explosive scorer. High flyer - an alley-oop waiting to happen. NBA-level athlete. Good at getting out and running on the break. Left-handed. Has three-point range on his jumper. Good at slashing to the hoop. Can hit tough shots over defenders. Strong build. Strong enough to post up smaller defenders. Good at drawing fouls. Decent rebounder for his position.

Weaknesses: Horrible shot selection - shot under 40% this year. Volume shooter - took about 16 shots/game this year. Relies on the three-pointer too much - shot over six a game. Needs to improve his ball-handling. Will be a little undersized for the NBA - may only be 6’4”. Turns the ball over too much.

Projected 2009 Draft Range: Early second round pick to undrafted.

Consensus: Why Dar Tucker decided to sign an agent and enter this year’s draft is a mystery. While he has NBA athleticism, his game still needs a whole lot of work before he can guarantee himself a pay check from the League.
