Talk about a big win. The Buckeyes, led by Jamar Butler's twenty-five points, got a much-needed 80-7 overtime win over Purdue on Tuesday night. While this by no means puts Thad Matta's bunch in the NCAA Tournament, it does keep them in the discussion heading into their regular season finale against Michigan State on Sunday. Highly-touted freshman Kosta Koufos struggled against the Boilers (3-9 from the field, 7 points), but Othello Hunter and Evan Turner eached scored fifteen points to supplement Butler's efforts. Jamar, after scoring just two points in the first half, caught fire in the second stanza and didn't cool off until the Buckeyes had their first win of the season against a Top 50 opponent.

On the clock: Florida. If this group of young Gators wants to have any shot at playing in the NCAA Tournament, they'll need to knock off Tennessee on Wednesday. As always, the "O Dome" will be rocking; now it's up to the youngsters to make something happen.
