Terrence Williams

College: Louisville

Class: Senior

Position: SG/SF

Height: 6’6”

Weight: 215lbs

Accolades: Second Team All-Big East (08), Second Team All-Big East (07), Big East All-Tournament Team (07).

Scouting Report: An experienced, versatile, athletic wing player.

Strengths: Very athletic. Great body - NBA physique. Can create off the dribble for himself or for teammates. Good shooting technique - lots of elevation. Versatile player - can play out on the wing or in the post. Can score with his back to the basket. Has three-point range on his jumper. Exceptional rebounder for his position. Fantastic set-up man - racks up tons of assists. Experienced - played big minutes all four years in college.

Weaknesses: Horrible shooter - horrendous shooting % from the field, the charity stripe and the three-point line. Never been a big-time scorer in college. Inconsistent.

Projected 2009 Draft Range: Mid to late second round pick.

Consensus: Terrence Williams has a nice skills package and physical attributes that will serve him well in the NBA. However, until he proves he can knock down shots consistently he projects to be nothing more than a role player at best.

what???

williams might be shooting from the stripe in the mid 50s but you cant consider him a "horrible" SHOOTER when hes shooting at a 37 percent clip behind the arc he did go 5/5 3ptrs at west virginia plus hes a great defender, that is in my opinion "the best all around player in America"

What a joke

This guy is obviously a moron when it comes to college hoops. Williams may be a streaky shooter but not horrible. And offense doesn't define a player. Look at his Rebounds, steals, assists, defensive presence. Williams may not be a big time star in the NBA but wont be the 12th man. He will prove all the doubters wrong so the moron that wrote this can eat his words.

LMAO

TWILL a 12th man?...mid to late second round pick? What an offense for TWILL...he will be a solid pro and might even be taken in the lottery. He's a talented player who can guard three positions, is a floor leader, and makes those around him better. Can't say that about too many SGs.

To my defense

If you check the date on this article I wrote it back in December. Williams stock, both with NBA teams and myself, has increased since that time.
