CHN now features a live scoreboard, stats, standings, etc.. here. Occasionally, we'll be featuring a box score of the day, with some commentary on why the box score is interesting. It might be involve a huge upset, a big personal effort, some odd statistical, occurrences, or other intriguing tidbit.

 

Box Score of the Day:

Today's pick is a no-brainer.. UNC's shocking home loss to Boston College to open ACC play. The key numbers are down at the bottom, as UNC only shot 38% from the floor and missed 12 of 27 free throws. Outside of offensive rebounding, which kept UNC in the game, Boston College outperformed UNC in just about every statistical measure.

 

Not one of UNC's starters hit even 50% of their shots, and Danny Green was the only starter with a positive assist/turnover ratio.. never a good sign.
