College: Kansas
Class: Freshman
Position: SG
Height: 6’6”
Weight: 225lbs
Accolades: McDonald’s All-American - high school (09), Second Team All-USA - USA Today - high school (09), Second Team Parade All-American - high school (08).
Scouting Report: A big, strong guard with a nice outside stroke.
Strengths: 6’10” wingspan. Left handed. Great size and strength for the shooting guard spot. Great three-point shooter. Big-time scorer. Good rebounder. Can post up smaller guards.
Weaknesses: Needs to improve his ball-handling. Needs to develop his mid-range game. Settles for the outside jumper too often. Good defender but must get better.
Projected 2010 Draft Range: Mid to late first round pick.
Consensus: Henry’s size and nice outside stroke will ensure he doesn’t have to spend too much time in college before earning NBA pay checks.
